Wrap a soft tape measure around your bare leg, 2 inches above your ankle bone, at the end of the day when your ankle is at its largest. Keep the tape snug, not tight. Match that number to the size chart in the photos above: M 7.5–8.9", L 9.0–10.3", XL 10.4" and up. Between sizes? Size up — it's a compression fit, and a size bigger still gives full support.
StepFit™ is designed to fit both the left and right ankle — no "left" or "right" version. Wrap and fasten to whichever side needs support, or both.
If one ankle is the issue, one brace does the job. Hand wash in cold water with mild soap, then air dry flat. Do not machine wash or tumble dry — heat affects the elastic straps and fabric structure over time. Most customers rinse it after a long shift and it's dry and ready by morning.
